About me

 

For the last 14 years I’ve been a CD/ECD running many different types of businesses, managing all different sizes of groups, making all types of creative content. Those are the generalities. now for the specifics.

  • For the past 3 years (while going to grad school pursuing my masters) I’ve been freelancing as a CD/copywriter, mostly in the health and wellness sector. I’ve worked on many different brands and categories, consumer and hcp facing, for agencies including - area 23, syneos health, saatchi wellness and publicis health.

  • Before that at mcGarry bowen i was in charge of running the chevron business where we focused mostly on garnering favorability from key Washington DC influencers and local communities where chevron had presence or was planning on future presence. as you can imagine this was a complicated and sensitive piece of business. but we were able to make compelling content in broadcast, digital, print and events.

  • Prior to that i took a role at Accenture Interactive, an internal agency called the pod, where we helped the sales teams improve their pitches and presentations to clients for massive deals. At the POd i ran the the nY office which consisted of a team of about 12. due to the highly confidential nature of the deals I am not allowed to share any of my work but the deals we worked on lead to over 1.2 Billion (yes with a B) in business wins for accenture.

  • at kBS I was given my own pieces of business to run, I was able to hire and run my own group of about 25, ultimately being promoted to ECD in 2012. With this group, which eventually grew to about 35, I oversaw everything from one of the most successful and efficient digital/banner campaigns (Vanguard) to programmatic social campaigns (Harman, Goldman Sachs), big broadcast TV(Beautyrest) to an award winning documentary (Harman). Eventually in February of 2016 I was given the opportunity, with a partner, to run the entire creative department of about 75 people. In my time I was responsible for about $25 million in agency revenue and led, or was a part of, many winning pitches including Vanguard, BMO, Keds, Harman Connected Car and, most recently, Red Robin.

  • prior to kbs i was a writer at Mccann NY and WK (NY & Portland) where i got my start.

  • before that, and currently, I’ve written a plethora (english major) of spec scripts (TV and film) as well as book of personal essays (goldbergjonblog.tumblr.com)
